Description:Lidocaine Hydrochloride is a local anesthetic and is available in generic form. Lidocaine Hydrochloride is indicated to provide the topical relief of pain and discomfort. Some serious side effects can occur if too much is used and may include but are not limited to:drowsiness, numbness of the tongue, and light-headedness.
Application:Lidocaine Hydrochloride is used on the skin to stop itching and pain from certain skin conditions (e.g., scrapes, minor burns, eczema, insect bites) and to treat minor discomfort and itching caused by hemorrhoids and certain other problems of the genital/anal area (e.g., anal fissures, itching around the vagina/rectum).
